Each one of us imagines a certain career path, and depending on our aspirations, demands and ambition, it can be described as linear, in steps or fulminating, referring here to the evolution on the hierarchical ladder. In the past, many imagined themselves spending decades, maybe even their entire career, in the same company, but the reality of today's work environment is more likely to lead us to an approach based on changing jobs every few years. Regardless of the situation, however, we need to act with tact, leaving room for "hello" in any context, and the watchword in such a situation must be moderation.
The opportunity of a career leap is one of the happiest events in anyone's life, of course, besides family events (marriage, birth of children, etc.). However, we should not get carried away with the excitement of a higher salary and a new opportunity until we have solved all the problems at our current job. More specifically, we are talking about leaving amicably, as we never know when we will meet up again, in our professional career, with some of our current (or rather former) colleagues, managers etc. Although it is not to be condemned if we want to speed things up, we should consider the possibility of a notice period.
That is why we present below a model resignation with notice. This is the standard solution in such a situation, although there is also the option of an agreement between the parties (if there is an agreement on the part of the employers you wish to leave), or a resignation without notice (but only if certain obligations in the individual employment contract have not been respected). The latter two are rather particular cases, so we will focus on the first option. Below is the text that you must write, of course, after verbally informing the management of the opportunity and your decision.
Model resignation with notice
I, the undersigned ..., identified by my CNP ..., employee of ..., with the position/position of ..., would like to take note of my resignation, which will end on .... The period of time between this notice and the date of termination of employment represents the notice period of ... working/calendar days provided for in the individual employment contract. If you wish to waive part or all of your notice period, please let me know.
The resignation with notice must be accompanied by the registration number (at the top), date and signature (below the text block).
